Rully is a village just south of the Cote de Beaune producing both white and red wines across a series of shallow valleys and mild slopes. Jadot treats this wine identically to the more prestigious wines, with rigorous sorting, natural fermentation, and aging in oak.
Harvest Note
2023 was a hot and dry growing season which was saved by significant rain in June. This allowed the vines to withstand summer heat and drought and led to ideal sanitary conditions and a modest yield yet concentrated vintage.
Tasting Note
This is a brisk and fairly delicate dry white wine, with subtle aromas of white flowers, hazelnut and citrus peel. The light body and soft mouthfeel allow for pairing with a wide range of cuisines or enjoyment on its own.
