Narvaux is a centrally located terroir, with just over one hectare owned and farmed by Jadot. These vines are on a mild slope oriented Southeast with soils of reddish clay and small white stones. Situated on the primary slope just South of the village, this vineyard gets full morning sun and this warmth contributes to the ripeness found here. Chardonnay is harvested by hand and brought to the winery in Beaune for triage, destemming, and initial fermentation and transfer to oak casks. Malolactic fermentation is managed according to the nature of the vintage to retain freshness and vibrancy.

Tasting Note

This presents classic Meursault aromas of toasted nuts and ripe citrus. On the palate this medium-bodied white is supple, generous and elegant with just enough bracing acidity to provide structure and length on the dry finish
