Jadot owns just over 1 acre here in a contiguous parcel. Ideally located in the center of the slope and with an Eastern exposure, this site warms early with the rising sun yet misses some of the late afternoon intense heat. Wines here are perfumed and elegant yet still show the imposing Corton structure.

Harvest Note
Winter and early Spring were unusually warm and dry however March brought much-needed rainfall which led to homogenous flowering in May. Stormy weather in June was followed by mild late summer, and an unusual September heat wave. Harvest was finished on September 16th, and by picking only in the cool morning hours freshness was preserved.
Tasting Note
Corton red wines are typically full-bodied with firm structure, dark berry fruit with earth nuances, and savory tannins. These are wines which reward patience, as the initial austerity refines and unfolds to reveal subtle floral and spice notes and an impressively long finish.
