Nestled in a secluded valley, our Craggy Range Te Muna vineyard estate is a hidden gem of the wine world. The unique soil composition, temperate climate, high winds and large diurnal temperature swings create the perfect terroir to produce wines of exceptional character. Grapes are hand harvested from the vineyard's higher terrace and destemmed before fermentation with indigenous yeast in open-top oak tanks. The wine matures on the lees in oak barriques for ten months before bottling.

2024 vintage
Harvest Note
The 2024 vintage in Martinborough is being hailed as one of the best ever. Despite a cool, wet start that affected fruit set, the season turned around in December with warm, dry, and disease-free conditions that continued through harvest. This allowed for fruit with exceptional balance—showing ripe tannins, vibrant acidity, and well-developed flavors.
Tasting Note
Deep scarlet in color. Intensely perfumed with lavender, jasmine, and rich, sweet spices layered over dark cherry and exotic incense. Bold yet impeccably balanced. The palate is powerful and seamless, with silky tannins that melt effortlessly. A commanding, expressive Te Muna release — intense, refined, and irresistibly seductive.
