The vineyard is terraced with stone walls and forms an amphitheater bordered by majestic almonds trees or "amandiers" in French. The South-facing vineyard is on a steep 58-degree slope with small, steep terraces held back by low stone walls called "chalais". The 15- to 30-year-old Viognier vines are planted in soil with granite that has degraded into sand. The organic grapes are hand-harvested and pressed as whole bunches. After settling, the wine is fermented primarily in concrete eggs as well as in French oak barrels – 15% of which are new. It is then aged for 3 months on fine lees in the same containers.

Harvest Note
The 2023 vintage began with a rainy autumn with a dry winter. Flowering took place in June in good conditions. Rainy weather in June meant the vines grew well without any water stress. The summer months were marked by several hailstorms but the vines were resilient with enough leaves to ripen the grapes that remained intact.
Tasting Note
Bright with golden highlights, this balanced and expressive white wine has aromas of floral notes like hawthorn and honeysuckle and mineral notes like pink granite and warm stone. It has crisp acidity and nice length with a final note of dried fruits like apricots.
