Lunita shows a beautiful floral nose with predominant notes of rose petals, its tannins are very well integrated, soft and silky, a typical trait of old engraft vineyard wines. Its structure is present without being overpowering and it displays a long finish with cherry notes and a bit of earthyness.

Inky black center with a rim of deep purple. The nose opens rich, ripe fruit with crisp red berry aromas blending with ripe, succulent black fruits. Eucalyptus and rock rose scents merge with hints of crushed mint, fresh citrus notes and a pot-pourri of savory herbs and dried rose petal. On the palate the wine is thick, dense and silky, packed with opulent fruit and supported by a mesh of tightly-woven tannins. Deep purple-black center with a vivid purple rim. The quality of the fruit is immediately apparent on the nose with ripe, dark berry aromas, but there are also crisp red berries, fresh plum and apricot to provide lift and vigor. The nose is very aromatic with notes of rock rose blending with savory marjoram and thyme and floral scents of rose and violet. The palate is svelte and racy, with tightly wound, linear tannins and fresh berry fruit flavors carrying through into the long finish. A beautifully expressive Vintage Port, fine and fragrant, but with the depth and intensity characteristic of the 2017 vintage.
