This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a very fragrant pink grapefruit and peach bouquet with some grassy hints. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe pink grapefruit with notes of lime zest and minerality. I also detected some hints of pineapple, asparagus, and guava in the mix. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors are nicely extended.
