Restrained aromas of orchard fruit and ripe citrus introduce this nicely concentrated and mouth filling wine. On the palate, it’s lively with a firm backbone, high toned fruit, and good depth. Drinking well now. Situated in the south of the Côte de Beaune, south of Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet is one of the five villages that make up the Côte des Blancs. At altitudes varying from 250 to 350 meters, the vineyards benefit from exposures ranging from east to south and southwest and the wine comes mainly from marly limestone soils.
