Stony minerality keeps pace with the supple, round well of orchard fruit and pink grapefruit, with blanched almond and chamomile details. Starts off silky, almost oily in texture, then is invigorated by candied ginger spiciness and saline bitterness. Full and complex, with good tension.

Petrol meets candied fruit-gummy aromas on the nose, promising fun. It’s the petrol note, slightly smoky, that comes to the fore as you sip. This wine is intense and gritty, with savory notes and a bit of buttery oak balancing luscious peach, pear and apricot flavors and playful acidity.
