Shows good varietal character, with saturated blackberry, violet, ink and smoked bacon aromas and flavors. Well-structured yet harmonious and really sings on the lingering aftertaste.

A sleek red highlighted by blackberry, black cherry and violet flavors, with hints of iron and black olive tapenade lingering on the dusty finish.

Ripe and concentrated but this also has a touch of charm and vibracny about it, strong and substantial with structure from the relatively firm tannins but there’s a purity and precision to the fruit and a long length. With a good air this could be enjoyable soon.

This dark ruby colored blend from Italy opens with a brambly boysenberry and cinnamon bouquet with hints of red currant and red licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a concentrated boysenberry, clove, and black cherry blend with notes of graphite. I also detected hints of Skoal and dried strawberry. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins and fruit stick around for quite some time.
