


Precise and detailed, with handsomely structured flavors of cherry and guava that take on crushed stone, black tea and savory cinnamon accents as this moves toward medium-grained tannins.


Matured for 18 months in 30% new French oak, the 2023 Pinot Noir Découverte Vineyard is scented of pomegranate, blueberry, charcuterie, forest floor and incense. The medium-bodied palate is powerfully styled with concentrated, layered flavors that segue from berry to mineral and spice. It’s structured by velvety tannins and vibrant acidity and has a long, expressive finish. 630 cases were made.


A barrel sample, the 2022 Pinot Noir Découverte Vineyard has pure aromas of raspberry, strawberry, orange peel and mushroom. The light-bodied palate features understated, floral fruit. It has silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.


Youthfully coy, the 2024 Pinot Noir Découverte Vineyard displays nuances of blue flowers, cedary spice and scant blackberry. It is round and supple, with cooling acidity and ripe red and blue fruits that wash across the palate with ease. A collection of minerals lingers beneath an air of violet inner florals as it tapers off with a gentle tannic impact. Nicely refined and elegant, the 2024 benefits from a splash in a decanter if opening today.


Intense fruit flavors, savory herbal undertones and a good, firm texture give much appeal to this medium-bodied, well-concentrated wine. Touches of spearmint, pine and cedar add to the black cherries and blueberries on the palate. Moderate tannins.
