


Cakebread’s 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland Select spent 22 months in 57% new French oak prior to bottling. Black cherries are joined by mocha and scorched oak notes on the nose, while the medium- to full-bodied palate is streamlined and silky, with ample focus and length on the finish. In a challenging vintage, it avoids any suggestions of over- or under-ripeness.


Violets and bramble lift from the glass joining flavors of ripe mixed berries and cocoa covered pecans. Persistent, melting tannins persist into a long, satisfying finish.
