


The 2024 Riesling Roche Volcanique was picked from the youngest vines on the Rangen de Thann, alongside the more fertile vines that are typically at the beginning and end of the rows. Salty wet walnut skin on the nose almost comes with a smoky sense of incense that also carries citrus. The palate is immediately fluid, smooth and spherical in shape, traveling unimpeded and leaving a trail of exquisitely citrus-scented aromas. Beautiful, right, svelte but really fine. The clean-cut finish is incisive and long. (Bone-dry)


The nose is smoky with a touch of pear, all smooth and yeasty. The palate is superbly fluid and serene, all very together, seemingly holding much fruit that will unfold in time. More air reveals aromatic citrus, a touch of bergamot and such fluidity, juiciness and togetherness.
