The single-varietal 2022 Chardonnay opens with expressive notes of white peaches, Golden Delicious apples, and pear tart followed by hints of allspice and powdered ginger. This golden yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a pineapple and lemon verbena bouquet with hints of oak and Anjou pear. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, juicy, and bright. The flavor profile is a poached pear and light butterscotch blend with notes of oak and pineapple. I also detected hints of nutmeg and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely.
