The 2023 Cornas Domaine de Saint-Pierre is sourced from vines planted at 350 to 380 meters in elevation. It reveals aromas of spices, dark berries, violet and a touch of herbs, complemented by notes of green olive. Still somewhat closed at this stage, it shows a typically cool, austere profile. Medium- to full-bodied, powerful and structured, it’s built around firm tannins and a reserved core of fruit, reflecting the character of a cooler Syrah expression. It will require some time to fully open.

The 2023 Cornas Domaine de Saint Pierre sets its aromatic tone with crushed flowers, fleshy scents, blackberry and pencil shavings. Mid-to-large in palate weight and gently framed around polished tannins, the 2023 fans out with savory persistence.

A delicious, velvety and balanced red with aromas of dark cherries, plums, warm spices and some bark. Medium-bodied, generous yet in control, offering subtle texture, creamy tannins and a long, flavorful finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Dense purple-hued, the 2024 Cornas Domaine De Saint Pierre offers classic blue fruits, fresh fig, graphite, and crushed stone aromatics. It’s medium-bodied on the palate, with ripe, polished, focused tannins, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length. This beautiful, old school, fresh, austere Cornas will benefit from bottle age and should evolve beautifully over the coming 12-15 years. Drink 2028-2043.

Darker berries, fresh fig, graphite, burning embers, and violet notes all shine from the 2023 Cornas Domaine De Saint Pierre, which was aged 12 months in concrete eggs and 20% new French oak barrels and demi-muids. It’s medium-bodied, with a nicely textured, layered mid-palate, firm tannins, and outstanding length. This is another pure, focused, firmer 2023 that will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age yet evolve gracefully over the following 15-20 years. Drink 2030-2050.
