Deep in color and saturated with plum, blackberry, violet and vanilla flavors, this red is powerful and stitched with dusty tannins that leave a compact feel on the finish.

The nose is primarily warm, meaty and sanguine, but also saline, herbaceous and slightly tart, with a dash of salt and pepper tying the fresh to the savory. The palate strikes a similar balance between the levity of mint and berries and the dusty warmth of coffee and chocolate.

Spicy balsamic style with cedar wood and tobacco aromas, vibrant bramble fruits, then velvety and medium-bodied with juicy, crisp acidity and a tight, slightly austere finish. Best from 2027.

This is intense on the nose, with baked cherries, ripe blackberries and hints of coffee beans, walnuts and licorice. Medium- to full-bodied with tight, chewy tannins and succulence underneath. The finish is firm and tightly wound.

Currants and sandalwood with hints of bay leaf and rosemary flower. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins that give a caressing texture and a long, pretty finish. Drinkable now, but better in a year or two.
