Keenly structured and generous in texture, this red offers lilting flavors of black cherry, mocha and cinnamon spices that sail toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2031

A rich blend of raspberry sauce, crushed black cherries, cloves and lifting mint rises up effortlessly from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s silky smooth and supple with penetrating depths of ripe red berry fruits, as hints of autumnal spic mingle with grippy tannins toward the close. This resonates with tension as a staining of primary concentration lingers, leaving a tart blackberry twang that slightly puckers the cheeks

These aromas are a mixed berry medley of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries with just the slightest bit of mint. There’s balance here, with silky tannins, lemony acidity and rich blueberry compote and espresso flavors.

This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend opens with blackberry and black currant bouquet with hints of clove spice and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is concentrated, rich and savory. The flavor profile is a black currant and crushed stone blend with notes of stewed red plum and toasted coconut. I also detected some hints of tea, menthol, and clove. The finish is dry and its refined tannins drift away nicely.
