White flowers and apricots on the nose. This is nicely concentrated with good depth on the palate. This has a bit more density to the bubbles than some of the others with a fresh, floral taste and a lemon drop boiled sweet acidity to the aftertaste. Dry and satisfying.
Shows a beautiful nose of toasted bread, green quince, lime flower, baker’s yeast, lemon custard, and honeydew. The wine has a vigorous bead showing refreshing, tiny bubbles and flavors of fresh, ripe melon and rising dough.
A blend of chenin (80 percent) and chardonnay, this wine unfurls in your mouth. Initial aromas of white pepper slowly dissipate to reveal the wine’s richness, molasses and ripe apricots, while the acidity keeps it feeling fresh.
On the palate, this is a light, perfectly round, mouth-filling, elegant and fruity Crémant for immediate pleasure. The richness of the 2018 vintage is very well represented here and served with finesse.
