This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a black cherry and black plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a slightly tart black plum and loamy earth blend with notes of cedar and flinty minerality. I also detected hints of black cherry and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity linger nicely.

Lean and elegant, this pinot develops exotic spice with air, as sassafras and cinnamon scents marry with taut red cherry flavors. The texture is a straight arrow: linear, sinewy, composed, its tannins have the pleasing bite for smoked turkey breast.

Limpid ruby-red. Expressive cherry and black raspberry scents on the spice- and mineral-accented nose. Silky and expansive on the palate, showing good energy to the gently sweet red and blue fruit flavors. Closes on a building floral note, with hints of bitter cherry and succulent herbs, well-knit tannins and strong tenacity.
