The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Cailleret 1er Cru, picked at the beginning of the harvest, has the best aromatics among the five Premier Crus tasted from the appellation at Jadot, endowed with greater stoniness and tension, more typicité. The palate is well balanced with a tangy, light spiced entry. There is a fine thread of acidity here with just a dab of lemongrass that enlivens the finish. Worth seeking out.


There is the same outstanding volume to the dense and extremely powerful mineral-driven flavors where the driving and chiseled finish is almost painful. This is potentially at another level.
