This deep ruby colored Zinfandel was a hit with the Tasting Panel. It opens boysenberry and strawberry bouquet with hints of violets and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium-plus bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry and black plum blend with notes of vanilla and Dr. Pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up and linger nicely.
