The nose opens saline and umami, then turns crunchy and fresh with barely ripe cherries and sweet citrus. Ripe raspberries and more cool, wet, salty notes define the palate, where tannins roll over the tongue like polished stones. A perfect example of a Nero d’Avola you can put in the fridge, or enjoy even poolside.
