An elegant style, evoking cherry, raspberry, rose and mineral flavors allied to a sleek yet dense profile. The silky texture is buffered at this stage by firm, chalky tannins, but the aftertaste echoes the red fruit. Shows terrific harmony.

The 2024 Pommard 1er Cru Rugiens (Domaine Louis Jadot) continues this cuvée’s strong run since it was replanted with the house’s best massal selections. Bursting with notes of warm spices, raspberries and rose petals, it’s medium- to full-bodied, ample and suave, with a fleshy core of fruit, attractive purity and a saline finish.
