This is elegant and refined, offering lemon, apple, floral and baking spice flavors. Bracing acidity keeps everything defined and mouthwatering as this plays out on the spice-tinged finish.

The 2024 Beaune Bressandes Blanc 1er Cru has an intense nose that does not hold back: yellow fruit, a little fumé in style, touches of grilled hazelnuts. The palate is well balanced with a bright opening. The acidity here is just about spot-on, quite tensile, tender yet with plenty of density and flavour on the tangy spicy finish. Excellent.

This is aromatically similar to the straight Beaune villages with just a bit more evident wood influence. The very rich, even opulent, and relatively full-bodied flavors are at once succulent and punchy while delivering fine length on the slightly longer and more structured finale.
