This deep gold colored chardonnay from Chablis opens with a lemon tart and Asian pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, really well-balanced, round and gentle. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral influenced light lemon and white tea blend. I also detected hints of white peach pit, Anjou pear and nicely integrated saline. The finish is dry and refreshing.
Aromas of green and yellow apple, oatmeal and ripe lemon zest spell freshness and ripeness in equal measure. The palate of this wine follows suit. A fruity, concentrated midpalate conveys zestiness and channels the ripeness of 2018 beautifully. This is vivid, energetic and bold.
Terrific aromas of ripe peaches and more exotic fruit, leading to a palate that has assertive acidity and a wealth of tart, young peaches.
Rich, laced with peach, yellow plum and mineral hints, this white is intense, vibrant and balanced, lingering with a citrus accent.
