The 2021 Moulin-à-Vent Clos des Thorins delivers notes of red and black currants, prunes, underbrush, vine smoke and cacao powder. The refined, medium-bodied palate is structured around fine, powdery tannins that underpin an attractively ample mid-palate.
This wine has a nose of black cherry, black olive, strawberry and rosehip. The midpalate echoes the nose with bright acidity, damp earth and chalk dust. The cool-vintage Moulin-à-Vent is angular, concentrated and shows depth. Additional age in bottle would tame youthful tannins.
