The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent Clos des Thorins evokes fragrant aromas of tangy blueberries, blackcurrants, plums, peonies, chamomile and sweet cedar. On the palate, this medium to full-bodied, succulent wine is tightly wound but reveals an impressively layered core of juicy fruit.

The 2021 Moulin-à-Vent Clos des Thorins delivers notes of red and black currants, prunes, underbrush, vine smoke and cacao powder. The refined, medium-bodied palate is structured around fine, powdery tannins that underpin an attractively ample mid-palate.

This wine has a nose of black cherry, black olive, strawberry and rosehip. The midpalate echoes the nose with bright acidity, damp earth and chalk dust. The cool-vintage Moulin-à-Vent is angular, concentrated and shows depth. Additional age in bottle would tame youthful tannins.

This has a sophisticated array of nutmeg, burdock, cassis and cocoa nib aromas. It’s medium-bodied and full of flavor, with firm and polished tannins framing the spicy dark fruit.

This wine is full, ripe and structured, with tannins still playing an important part. It is dense and powerful, with layers of black fruits and texture.
