A highlight of this year's range is the 2020 Moulin-à-Vent Clos des Thorins, a full-bodied, layered and vibrant wine of notable completeness and harmony. Delivering attractive aromas of cherries, mulberries, rose petals, sweet spices, licorice and soil, it's refined and penetrating, concluding with a saline finish. This is a seamless, elegant wine, despite the warmth and power of the vintage, and it will be worth following over several decades.

Bright violet. Spicy and sharply focused on the nose, displaying juicy red and dark berry and floral aromas and a hint of exotic spices. Seamless and appealingly sweet, offering intense black raspberry, cherry liqueur, lavender and spicecake flavors underscored by a vein of juicy acidity. Powerful yet energetic in style, delivering firm closing grip, polished tannins and repeating cherry and spice notes.

Vivid ruby-red. Pungent red and blue fruits and candied violet on the highly fragrant, mineral- and spice-accented nose. Bright, spicy and expansive on the palate, offering sappy raspberry and boysenberry flavors that show fine definition and deepen steadily with air. Seamless and broad on the impressively long finish, which features discreet tannins and repeating floral and mineral notes.

One of the more tightly wound wines in the range is the 2019 Moulin-à-Vent Clos des Thorins, a medium to full-bodied, taut and concentrated wine evocative of plums, raspberries, rose petals, orange rind and potpourri.

This lustrous red is engaging, with cherry preserves and ripe brambly fruit notes richly accented with anise, mocha and baking spice details. A hint of floral echoes on the elegant finish
