The 2023 Moulin-à-Vent La Roche reveals aromas of orange liqueur, stewed cherries and crushed rose petals. Full-bodied and generous on the palate, it opens with rounded volume before smooth, compact tannins add structure.
A bitter edge gives this wine a firmly structured character. With spice and black fruits it will develop slowly but surely to become a balanced wine, full of black fruits.
Exhibiting aromas of dark berries and plums mingled with spices, sweet soil tones and smoke, the 2020 Moulin-à-Vent La Roche is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with an ample core of fruit, lively acids and powdery tannins. Broad and textural, it’s a seamless, nicely refined wine that will offer a broad drinking window.
With 10 months in oak, it’s broad and structured, edges of minerals and purple plum skin completely saturated by fruit. A floral fragrance and delicate blue-fruit scents add finesse and complex length.
Deep magenta. Expressive, mineral-driven black raspberry, cherry cola and floral aromas show fine definition and spicy lift. Chewy and expansive on the palate, offering appealingly sweet dark berry, cherry, roasted coffee and spicecake flavors that take on a hint of smokiness with air. Subtly gripping tannins build through the long, smoky finish, which emphatically echoes the cherry and floral notes.
