This compact red slowly reveals flavors of ripe black and red currant, raspberry, loamy earth, and espresso, tying the profile tightly to firm, fine-grained tannins. As this opens in the glass, accents of bay leaf, smoked paprika and anise emerge to linger on the chewy finish.

Ripe plum, fresh strawberry, rose petal and violet aromas follow through to a full body with chewy tannins, depth of fruit and a flavorful finish. Some sliced oranges at the end. A solid, rich wine. Better in a year or two.

Coffee, dried flowers, prunes and dried cranberries on the nose of this ripe red. It’s rich, spicy and dense, with a full body and chewy tannins. Big and concentrated wine.
