A gamy and earthy nose on this wine conveys cured meat, potting soil, tree bark and tobacco leaves, with a final bite of fresh cranberries. The palate turns to notes of fruit on top of the earthy gaminess, with cherries and blackberries in addition to cranberries. Angular tannins hold everything in place

A medium- to full-bodied red, with hints of sweet smoke and fig cake underscoring flavors of blackberry coulis and black plum reduction, dried thyme and tea leaf, singed orange peel and ground anise. Balanced and lightly juicy throughout, with fine tannins firming the finish. Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

A harmonious red, medium- to full-bodied and playing savory herbed olive and salty mineral notes off a pure note of dried raspberry. Fine-grained tannins provide chewy definition, firming the spiced finish.
