Notes of dried cherries and red plums with hints of cured meat, walnuts, a little bit of leather and moist earth. Full-bodied and structured with fine, polished tannins. Wide and generous and very refined. Complete and focused wine with a broad and lingering finish.

Boasts black cherry, plum, blackberry and thyme flavors wrapped in toasty oak, making this red distinctive and modern. Though polished, there are also dusty tannins and vivid acidity lending support. Fine balance and length. Best from 2023 through 2037.

Lots of sweet berries, cherries and vanilla, yet it’s attractive and enticing. Medium-bodied with lovely fruit through the finish. Very fruity, but in-check. Give it a little time to come together in the bottle. Try after 2022.

There’s a leafy edge to this compact red, keeping a lid on the black cherry and plum flavors. Sanguine and leather details chime in and this remains fresh and persistent on the finish.
