The nose is all yellow, from pineapples to Golden Delicious apples to lemons, with a sprinkling of lime zest and salt. On the palate, the apples get cooked, but the pineapple remains bright above undertones of honey and nuts. Acidity joins the nose’s citrus notes to balance a creamy texture.
The 2020 Chardonnay Le Bruniche is done in a crisp, vibrant style that seems more like Vermentino than Chardonnay.
