Built for further aging or rich protein dishes, this firmly tannic and well-concentrated wine wraps a good core of blackberries, blueberries and dark chocolate in fine-grained tannins.
This dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a mild wet stone and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and fresh. The flavor profile is a juicy black raspberry and blackberry blend with notes of black pepper. I also picked up some hint’s purple jellybean in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its fruit and mild tannins are nicely extended. This Zin would pair well with barbecue steak tips. Enjoy – Ken
Jammy, balanced.
Zesty, bold and fruity, offering raspberry, spice and a hint of mint as this finishes on a plump and briary accent
