A salmon pink hue aligns well with a floral, sweet nose of rose petals, lavender, fresh laundry and pink grapefruit. On the palate, honey dew and more grapefruit expand under the floral notes creating an overall sensation that is textured and substantial, but still bright and easygoing. A great deal!

The nose is savory, herbaceous, earthy and spicy all at once, with aromas of macerated blackberries, mulberries and figs. Ripe black plums and more figs tumble across the palate, alongside salted dark chocolate and licorice, all beneath a sprinkle of cinnamon and cloves. I hate to give a seasonally specific note, but this wine does feel like Christmas.

The nose is dense and rich with dark fruit and wild herbs, bringing the lush decadence of a hanging garden with damp soil and heady blossoms. The palate contrasts with a lifted, spirited feel, as the tart skin of the fruit and the flinty edge of top soil is buoyed by salinity and citrus. Polished tannins round out the finish.

The nose opens saline and umami, then turns crunchy and fresh with barely ripe cherries and sweet citrus. Ripe raspberries and more cool, wet, salty notes define the palate, where tannins roll over the tongue like polished stones. A perfect example of a Nero d’Avola you can put in the fridge, or enjoy even poolside.

The nose opens with umami damp earth, leather and pepper, then turns sweet with flowers and berries. Tart yet sweet cherries and raspberries are lifted by a wave of citrus on the palate, before a crack of pepper splits the finish open. Structured tannins hold vibrant acid in check.
