A weighty and ripe wine, this gamay's powerful black tannins are brimming with succulent dark cherry and lasting berry flavors. There's a green note, like fennel, and some superripe edges of fresh and dried plums, a satisfying red to serve with squab grilled with fennel.

Cool and lithe, this earthy Morgon has flavors of stewed plums and black currants, held by pointedly brisk tannins that have the chew of blueberry skins. It's a powerful gamay, with a scent one panelist called out as Himalayan kush - and offeres a classic companion to charcuterie.

With 10 months in oak, it's broad and structured, edges of minerals and purple plum skin completely saturated by fruit. A floral fragrance and delicate blue-fruit scents add finesse and complex length.

This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored Gamay opens with a blackberry and plum bouquet with a hint of pomegranate and potting soil. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tart cherry and mild blackberry blend with notes of pomegranate and cranberry. I also detected hints of red licorice. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger nicely.
