Norton's Reserva wines are characterized by elegance and complexity. Made from 15 to 30 year old vineyards in both Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, each selected for their unique character, grapes are hand-harvested, and wines are aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and an additional 6 months in bottles before release. The Reserva wines are a harmonious marriage of terroirs, integrating textures, fruit character, and the spice of oak aging for a seamless experience.

Harvest Note
Despite the challenges of 2023, the vintage yielded wines of exceptional quality, rewarding those who adapted quickly. The extreme conditions, from spring frosts to an accelerated growing season, resulted in low yields but concentrated, expressive fruit. With ripening advancing rapidly due to warm summer temperatures, harvest came early, allowing for optimal picking conditions.
Tasting Note
Fresh and textured, with aromas of fresh citrus, the palate opens to green apple and marzipan, finishing with a seamlessly integration of chalk-like minerality.

About the Grape

Chardonnay
Though it has a distinctive profile, Chardonnay reflects other factors such as soil composition and vinification technique. Chardonnay is a reliable, hardy and prolific vine whose only real vulnerabilities are frost and uneven development of fruit.
