This wine originates in a parcel of 4 acres within this recently elevated (from regional to village) vineyard. Positioned at the northern edge of the Cote d'Or and very close to the outskirts of Dijon, this is a good source of red wines showing remarkable finesse yet offering great value. Soils are a mix of clay, silt and small stones on a gentle slope. Viticulture is now fully organic, and winemaking is traditional.

Harvest Note
2024 was a hot and dry growing season which was saved by significant rain in June. This allowed the vines to withstand summer heat and drought and led to ideal sanitary conditions and a modest yield yet concentrated vintage.
Tasting Note
This red wine is sturdy and structured, with a profusion of dark fruits tinged by floral notes, and enjoyable in youth where the robust fruitiness dominates, yet is capable of aging for up to 10 – 12 years, whereupon the more subtle tobacco, mocha, and sandalwood nuances emerge.
