Les Charmes is one of the 24 Premier Cru vineyards of the commune of Chambolle-Musigny. The vineyard has a poor, calcareous soil that stresses the vines. This Pinot Noir wine is fermented in vats for up to 4 weeks, then aged 18 to 20 months in oak barrels before bottling.

Tasting Note

This deeply colored wine develops intense red fruit, spice and earthy aromas and flavors. It is elegant and beautifully balanced, and will improve for 15 to 20 years in the bottle.

Food Pairing

Serve with filet mignon or meats in sauce, game and strong cheeses such as Reblochon.
