Paulo Alexandre Teixeira Coutinho is a winemaker with more than 30 years of experience, having built most of his career in Portugal’s Douro Demarcated Region. He holds a degree in Oenology from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) and began his professional career while still a student, developing a strong foundation in both vineyard and cellar work. Since 2006, he has integrated viticulture and vineyard management as core pillars of his approach, holding technical and management roles across DOC Douro and fortified wine production. His work is defined by rigorous oenological practice, sustainability, environmental responsibility, and active engagement with sector institutions to promote wine quality and regional value.
