Diego Bertoni
Oenologist

Diego Bertoni was born in 1979 in Valpolicella. Here he grew up in the open air, among the vineyards and cellars of friends. He marveled at the changes that took place day by day in the fields. His memory filled with scents and he fell in love with the vineyard.

Diego studied agriculture in high school and Viticulture and Oenology at the University of San Michele all’ Adige (Trento), where he improved his relationship with wine and acquired the technical knowledge necessary to understand the vine and how to enhance it in the bottle.

The relationship with the territory was a priority for him. He completed his internship and thesis in a great winery in Valpolicella, where he studied the grape Corvina.

Shortly before graduating with top marks, Buglioni recruited Diego, a young oenologist to join their young winery, and they have worked together ever since.
