The bouquet includes black fruit, star anise and cinnamon. Flavors of blackberry and strawberry are released on the smooth palate of this Syrah. After spending a few months in oak barrels, it has a good tannic structure and a supporting acidity. Cardamom and nutmeg spice up the long finish.

This wine evokes a perfect summer day by the ocean—crisp, fresh, and effortlessly bright. Aromas of fresh citrus and orchard fruit shine, with lemon verbena and white peach elegantly woven together by delicate threads of lemongrass, chamomile, and vanilla. Brilliant acidity cuts through its rich layers, extending into a refined hazelnut-saline finish. Beautiful now, with the depth to age gracefully through 2032+.

Aromas of vanilla, tobacco leaf, wild blackberries and blueberries gust on the nose, while the palate brings more sweet berries and vanilla but also has an unexpected bouncy, lively, almost pop-rocks feel from the acid. Flexible tannins structure a warm, citrus finish. As ever, a five-star luxury, with the ease of a lifetime of experience.

A vertiginous tight-rope walk between savory and sweet on the nose, from white tea leaf to tart blackberries to bing cherries to damp earth and gunpowder on the nose somersaults into ripe blackberries, black cherries, orange peel then sticks the landing with savory notes of black olives, a hint of grilled meat and mixed bitter herbs. I have always enjoyed Oreno but the introduction of the Cabernet Franc is cataclysmic. I can’t wait to see where this goes.

This wine displays great tension and laser-like precision, featuring notes of white peach, acacia, white mushroom, and wildflowers, all underscored by an abundance of minerality. On the palate, it offers good volume, texture, and acidity, with umami-rich fresh apples, kelp, and lady pink apples. Complex and versatile, it pairs beautifully with spiced dishes and can cellar well through 2035+.
