This wine originates in a parcel of 2.5 acres within this well-known Premier Cru, located in the south section of the appellation. The exposition is southeast on a slope between 200 – 250 meters of elevation. Soils are light clay with small stones on the upper slope and deeper reddish clay just below. This is a classic example of Chassagne terroir producing consistently full-bodied and opulent wines.
