This wine is from a 12 acre parcel owned by the Gagey family in the unique appellation of Bouzeron, just South of the Cote de Beaune. The appellation is spread across rolling hills with clay subsoils and is 100% dedicated to the Aligote grape variety. Historically this wine was inferior to Burgundian Chardonnays, however recent progress in utilizing the correct plant material in the most suitable terroirs has allowed for great improvements and the development of a versatile and refreshing white wine.

Harvest Note
2023 was a hot and dry growing season which was saved by significant rain in June. This allowed the vines to withstand summer heat and drought and led to ideal sanitary conditions and a modest yield yet concentrated vintage.
Tasting Note
The naturally bracing acidity of this varietal frame the citrus and flinty flavors which spread across the palate and continue over the long finish.
