This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Cakebread is consistently very good. The 2016 vintage opens with a funky strawberry bouquet with hints of lavender and wet straw. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and delicate. The flavor profile is a mild minerality and strawberry blend with notes of cherry and hints of graphite. The finish is dry and fades away nicely.
