January 11, 2022 91 Points - Very Good Ken's Wine

This translucent and medium ruby colored wine from Tuscany opens with a mild cigar box and wet stone bouquet with hints of blackberry and dried cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is velvety, polished, and balanced. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced spiced black plum with notes of blackberry and loam. We also detected hints of chocolate and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its dusty fine tannins linger and last for a while.
