The 2019 Bianco Falerno del Massico wafts up with a rich yet spicy display showing ripe peaches, melon and almond paste contrasted by hints of ginger. It’s round and soft-textured, balancing sweet apple and pear with vibrant acidity, as pretty inner florals and hints of custard form toward the close. This tapers off refreshing, crisp and clean, leaving a reverberation of salty minerals to linger. The 2019, a varietal Falanghina, is a gorgeous wine of contrasts.
