Louis Jadot Côte d'Or Burgundies Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2018
June 10, 2021 94 Points

Pure, airy and wafting aromas of white flowers, citrus rind include both lemon and tangerine plus wisps of pear, passion fruit and pretty spice nuances trimmed in just enough wood to merit mentioning. Somewhat surprisingly, the mouthfeel of the solidly constituted flavors is relatively fine with good power that slowly builds from the mid-palate to the sleekly muscular finish. This understated and lovely effort is very promising.
