Cooling breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea brought relief to the drought- and heat-stricken vines at this estate in 2017, allowing the team at San Guido to produce a smooth and harmonious wine. It opens with a burst of fresh berries amplified by subtle notes of toasted vanilla and warm spice; a hint of orange peel brightens the finish. Approachable now for its sheer exuberance.
