The 2022 Chardonnay Reserva hails from the Uco Valley. It aged in 50% French oak barrels and the rest in steel tanks. Yellow in hue. The nose features green apple and pear as well as linden blossom, vanilla and cedar against a pastry backdrop. Both creamy and taut, the palate is quite buttery and refreshing. A well-made Chard that over-delivers at this price point.
A hint of golden berry and green apples to the nose with a touch of mineral. Bone dry and slightly saline on the palate with a fresh beam of acidity. Crisp and chalky finish with a medium length. 50% of the fruit from Gualtallary and 50% Altamira. Drink now. Screw cap.
Perfumed, spicy nose of baked pineapple, white pepper, fennel seeds, grilled lemon and butterscotch. Medium-bodied with a creamy palate and fresh acidity. Spicy yet tangy finish.
Clean and silky with bright, juicy fruit; fresh and lively, crisp and balanced, racy and tangy, long and bracing.
2018 has very good aromatic expression, and it was a very good vintage for whites.
