Tight pear scents and notes of white peach just approaching ripeness introduce this smoky, brothy aligoté. It tastes like seashells in its mineral detail, the fruit opening to citrus and targeting the wine at clams on the half shell.

Gracious and satisfying, this comes from Jadot’s holdings in Bouzeron, the only AOC in Burgundy dedicated solely to the oft-forgotten aligote. Its supple texture will get along well with crispy roast chicken and root vegetables, the wine is open and approachable in its balance of richness and delicacy.

This aligoté grows at Jadot’s holdings in Bouzeron. It’s a wine of richness and delicacy, and though there’s nothing complex about it, the wine is gracious and satisfying, a textural pleasure to enjoy with roast chicken and mushrooms.

Bright and zesty, this aligoté has a mix of ripe strawberry scents and underripe strawberry flavors. That pale greenness gives the wine some floral tension, keeping it bright and zesty even as the texture is broad and luscious. It’s a clean and fragrant white to pour with boudin blanc.
