The 2021 Estate Malbec was produced with grapes from Valle de Uco (Campo de los Andes), and half of the wine matured in lightly toasted French oak barrels for one year. It’s fruit-driven, with integrated oak that gives it a spicy twist and varietal aromas and flavors. It’s sleek and polished, easy to drink.

A fruity malbec with some coffee and spices. Juicy and slightly chewy on the palate with a tight, medium-length finish. Drink now.

It opens with a black raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of musty earth. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, rich and savory. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and black olive blend with notes of pomegranate, oak, and black licorice. I also detected hints of black pepper and spiced black plum. The finish is dry, and its concentrated flavors linger and last for a while.

This ruby colored Malbec opens with a pomegranate and smoky oak bouquet with a hint of cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh, young, and straightforward. The flavor profile is a smoky oak and slightly tart black plum blend with notes of rhubarb and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of mocha and pomegranate. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and fine tannins linger nicely. This Malbec would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich or with barbecue beef brisket. Enjoy

A fresh and food-friendly version, offering lively plum and cherry flavors combined with mineral, herb and pepper shadings, backed by fine tannins.
